Solerity is seeking Mid to Senior Machine Learning Engineers and AI Model Developers to support an upcoming Federal program expected to begin in late August/September 2026. This effort focuses on developing, evaluating, and integrating machine learning models within a secure Impact Level 5 (IL5) environment supporting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside government and technical teams to build production-ready AI/ML capabilities while establishing repeatable evaluation processes and model selection methodologies that directly support mission outcomes.
Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate directly with Government customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government AI/ML programs.
Experience working with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
Experience supporting DoD Impact Level 5 (IL5) cloud environments.
Experience designing or supporting Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) evaluation workflows.
Experience producing technical documentation, reproducibility artifacts, and model evaluation reports.
Experience deploying AI/ML models into secure production environments.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), or other generative AI technologies.
