The Handler is responsible for screening cargo using a trained working dog to identify threats in compliance with TSA rules. Duties include maintaining training records, providing care for the assigned canine, and conducting physical and X-ray searches.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens with 1-2 years of experience handling explosive detection dogs and a valid driver's license. Must be able to obtain specific security badges (SIDA, STA) and pass contract certifications within six weeks of employment.
