The Lead Registered Dietitian assesses resident nutritional needs, develops meal plans, and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. They also provide nutrition counseling and assist in the recruitment, training, and scheduling of dietary staff.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics and be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. A minimum of two years of experience in a long-term care setting is required.
