We are looking for a Packaging Technician I to join our team in Tolleson, AZ.
Summary: Operate production machinery and troubleshoot when needed.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate from accredited college or technical school in Mechanical studies is preferred. Minimum of 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is working in a warehouse environment and is frequently exposed to working near moving mechanical parts and extreme cold (non-weather). The associate is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and wet, humid conditions (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
REQUIRED TRAINING
This position requires training on Good Manufacturing Practices critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency. Training is also required
on how to identify food safety issues such as temperature control, cross-contamination, sanitation and cleanliness of the lines, etc., critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality process efficiency.
