Job Title: Cook (Back of House)
Location: Martin City Brewing Company - Crossroads - New Opening
Reports To: Kitchen Manager / Chef / General Manager
Schedule: Part‑time or Full‑time; days, nights, weekends, and holidays required

Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Execution
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specs, and plating standards
Execute food orders accurately and efficiently during service
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
Ensure proper food temperatures, timing, and presentation
Follow all ticket times and communication standards during service
Kitchen Operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and sauce production
Communicate clearly with other BOH and FOH team members
Support other stations as needed during peak service
Assist with opening and closing duties
Food Safety & Sanitation
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Properly label, date, rotate, and store food products
Maintain cleanliness of equipment, surfaces, and storage areas
Report any safety, quality, or equipment issues to leadership immediately
Team & Culture
Work collaboratively with kitchen and FOH teams
Take direction from kitchen leadership and accept feedback constructively
Show pride in work and accountability for station performance

QualificationsQualifications
Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred, but not required
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Willingness to learn multiple stations and menu items
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
