The Assistant Controller manages all aspects of accounting, including the production of financial records and SEC financial statements. They are responsible for maintaining internal controls for SOX 404 compliance and directing external audits.
Requires a minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, a CPA certification, and a degree in Accounting or Finance. Candidates must have experience with public companies and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

WHAT WE’LL NEED
The Assistant Controller is a strategic business partner that will wear multiple hats in the organization and is responsible for the accounting of financial results and optimizing the overall controls, processes and procedures to support future growth.
This individual is an energetic self-starter and leader that will help to manage all aspects of accounting, provides monthly, quarterly and year-end financial analysis, maintains internal controls over financial reporting and works cross-functionally within the organization to support growth of the business.
Responsibilities:

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
Advanced excel and business writing skills.

Education and Work Experience:
Minimum 10 years of accounting experience required.

Public Company experience, required.

Prior management experience required.
College degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
