The Catering Director develops and drives catering solutions and marketing plans while collaborating with the Executive Chef on menu development. They oversee the full lifecycle of diverse events, from staffing and setup to financial cost controls and cleanup.
A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts and at least 5 years of hospitality experience, including 2 years in management, are required. Candidates must be ServSafe certified and possess experience in high-volume and VIP catering.

We are currently seeking a Catering Director for our premiere catering department at TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY in College Station, TX. The Catering Director will develop and drive catering solutions to meet our customer needs, while working closely with the Executive Chef on menu development. Events encompass a diverse spectrum, spanning from coffee services to exclusive VIP dining occasions to Presidential events, hosted both on-campus and off-campus.
Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet.
ServSafe® Certified.
The ability to supervise food preparation, service, and cleanup is also essential
