As a Product Delivery Manager in Embedded Finance and Solutions (EF&S), you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way.
The next decade of payments promises to be even more transformational than the last. Continued investment and development in the Embedded Finance and Solutions (EF&S) space is a top priority for JPM Payments. The incoming Vice-President will act as a catalyst, taking our service offering to the next level on this high visibility, multi-year journey. The Vice-President, Product Delivery is accountable for driving several key outcomes across a broad portfolio. Ultimately, these contributions will help us optimize and scale our business globally.
Job responsibilities
Become an industry thought leader and help senior leaders shape the strategic vision for the product
Work directly with our Clients and help them integrate with our industry leading solution
Identify new opportunities by documenting Client feedback and working with Product Development to inform the product roadmap
Monitor the performance of products and services, including overall profitability, by identifying and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs)
Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, risk, controls) to ensure compliance with both JPMC policy and regulatory commitments
Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong communication/presentation skills (i.e. creating content) that can be consumed at all seniority levels with both internal and external audiences
Be a persuasive negotiator and thrive in a high intensity environment
Operate with minimal guidance and oversight, capable of embracing ambiguity
Ability to rapidly understand emerging technologies and business models / naturally see commercial opportunities
Passion for creatively solving problems and an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to adeptly pivot opportunities based on new information and market forces
Resourcefulness to filter a large number of opportunities into the most impactful engagements
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
5+ years of production Java experience
2+ years writing automated tests using Behavior-Driven Development (Cucumber, etc.)
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to a business audience
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, etc.) and structuring API calls
Debugging, tracking, tracing and log reading experience using Splunk, Elasticsearch, or similar tools
