The Payroll Coordinator I is responsible for processing wage and salary payments, auditing time entries, and managing garnishment payments. They also handle payroll inquiries, file unemployment forms, and coordinate payroll-specific financial calculations and reporting.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a TWIC card are required.

Who You Are: Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Ideal candidate demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and brings a developing knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. They possess intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and exhibit strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication abilities and shows a strong capacity to quickly develop proficiency in payroll and time and attendance systems to effectively support operational needs. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
Licenses, Certifications, and Credentials
Valid driver’s license; Transportation Worker Identification Credential
Work Experience
