Requires active military personnel in their last 180 days of service with a high school diploma and at least 3 years of CNC machining experience (or a 2-year degree). Must be proficient in reading mechanical blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.

With 600,000 square feet of manufacturing space and an advanced mix of over 300 CNC machines and 21 special processes, we produce high-quality rotating parts for commercial and military aircraft engines. Our team plays a crucial role in introducing advanced new technologies like the LEAP and 9x Engines, offering outstanding opportunities to contribute to the future of aviation.
As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in setting up and operating multi-axis CNC/NC machines, often running multiple machines simultaneously. Your work will involve handling a variety of metals and parts with close tolerances and fine finishes. Utilizing complex measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and special purpose gages, you will generate and check part dimensions during various machining stages with precision. Your expertise in precise indicating on parts, where true indicator reading (TIR) and four-point indication are critical, will ensure the highest quality standards are met.
You could be a strong military fit for this role if you have formal machinist or metalworking training (DoD machinist school, vocational machinist program, or similar), experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings/blueprints, tolerances, and finishes, and regularly use precision measuring tools.
