The technician will perform field and laboratory sampling, testing, and observation for earthwork and concrete construction projects. They are also responsible for preparing detailed inspection reports, plotting test locations on drawings, and assisting the project management team with research and documentation.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in field inspection and material testing for soils and concrete. A degree in geology or engineering is considered a significant plus, along with relevant certifications such as EIT, GIT, ACI, or ICC.

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking Geotechnical Engineering Technician in Torrance, CA supporting our geotechnical engineering practice. Our ideal candidate for this dynamic and challenging role will be responsible for the following tasks outlined below.
We will consider qualified applicants who have criminal histories in a manner consistent with the law.
Salary range is $50,000-$60,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
