The Lead Estimator is responsible for the overall planning and management of estimating activities, including preparing accurate quantity take-offs and conceptual estimates. They also mentor estimating staff, maintain historical costs, and coordinate with trade partners throughout the bidding process.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of estimating experience and specific experience with K-14 (DSA) projects. A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture is required, along with proficiency in estimating software and the ability to interpret complex construction documents.
