The Mechanical Engineer will translate owner needs into sustainable, cost-effective building designs under the guidance of a Professional Engineer. Key tasks include calculating heating/cooling loads, modeling HVAC and plumbing systems, and ensuring energy code compliance.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an EAC/ABET certified school and experience in HVAC or plumbing design are required. EIT certification is preferred, and a PE license is considered a plus.
