The technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, and repair of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are in normal operating condition. This includes responding to emergency calls, performing periodic life safety inspections, and providing technical guidance to customers.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a strong preference for technical certifications in fire sprinkler systems and a valid driver's license. Candidates should be familiar with NFPA standards and possess the physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work from ladders.

Respond to emergency and maintenance calls and troubleshoot/replace faulty components to restore fire sprinkler systems to “normal condition”. Complete inspection and service reports.
