The Manufacturing Engineer serves as the internal technical product owner, acting as the primary interface between customers and internal teams like Process and Test Engineering. They are responsible for estimating costs, driving DFX, managing product documentation, and providing hands-on support during NPI and pilot builds.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and be a US citizen. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing and proficiency with CAD, SMT, and quality management systems.

The Manufacturing Engineer is the internal technical product owner through all aspects of Vanguard’s processes and is therefore generally the first point of contact and fills necessary gaps to ensure the product is built correctly and efficiently. This role is the engineering interface to our customers and as such must present a superior level of technical understanding and ability to communicate effectively to both engineers and non-engineers. The position is member of our Customer Focus Teams, but also interfaces closely with Process Engineering, Test Engineering, Production and Quality.
