The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and repairing production machinery to minimize downtime. They must also respond to emergency breakdowns and work collaboratively with crews to ensure machine safety and operational efficiency.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a strong background in industrial maintenance with mechanical and electrical aptitude. Proficiency in using shop tools and the ability to interpret technical drawings are required, while electrical certification is preferred.

Supports our production operations by ensuring the optimal performance of manufacturing equipment. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and repairing production machinery to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial maintenance, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Experience
Electrical certification preferred
Corrugated packaging industry a plus
Strong knowledge of mechanical machinery
Ability to use shop tools and equipment, drill press, shop grinders, welders, oxy-acetylene torch
A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
A strong trouble shooting and problem solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical aptitude
Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings
Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular consistent basis.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
Work Environment:
Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
Wet and or humid conditions
Office Setting, sitting for long periods of time.
Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
