Join Our Team as a Staff Industrial Engineer!
Are you passionate about Industrial Engineering? S&C Electric Company is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer to lead high-impact initiatives that enhance productivity, improve quality, and optimize process performance across our operations. In this role, you will be applying lean manufacturing principles to design, improve, and validate manufacturing systems that reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve quality across production operations.
The Staff Industrial Engineer leads the execution and deployment of process capability improvements across S&C value streams and cross-functional operations. This role drives measurable gains in productivity, quality, and operational performance through the disciplined application of advanced Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Operating at a senior level, the Staff Industrial Engineer designs and standardizes Lean systems, provides technical direction for complex improvement initiatives, and ensures consistent application of continuous improvement practices. The role establishes practical standards for production, problem-solving, and process improvement while building sustainable capability within leaders and teams.
This position requires strong analytical expertise, the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels, and a results-focused approach grounded in collaboration and process discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Lean & Six Sigma Leadership: Support and advance a unified Lean and Six Sigma strategy aligned with S&C’s operational and business objectives. Define and integrate enterprise frameworks that combine Lean system design and Six Sigma methodologies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and elevate quality across value streams and cross-functional processes.
Capability Building & Technical Mentorship: Serve as a senior technical mentor and thought leader in Lean and Six Sigma. Coach Black Belts, Green Belts, and senior leaders, and develop training that strengthens problem-solving capability, supports leadership effectiveness, and reinforces a culture of continuous improvement.
Leadership of High-Impact Improvement Initiatives: Identify, lead, and govern complex, high-impact improvement initiatives with measurable results in cost, quality, delivery, and operational performance. Apply advanced problem-solving tools to address systemic issues, reduce the cost of poor quality, and optimize end-to-end processes.
Strategic Deployment & Roadmap Execution: Support and promote a phased, enterprise-wide Lean and Six Sigma deployment roadmap. Ensure alignment between foundational practices and advanced initiatives to drive sustainable improvement and long-term operational transformation.
Process & System Improvement: Lead in-depth process and value stream assessments and partner with functional leaders to implement improvements using methodologies such as DMAIC and Kaizen. Embed improvements into standard work and operating procedures to ensure scalability, consistency, and sustained performance.
Change Management & Organizational Alignment: Lead value stream–level change management as a core responsibility. Engage senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive understanding, ownership, and adoption of improvement initiatives. Communicate changes with clarity and consistency to enable effective implementation and minimize resistance.
Data Analysis, Governance & Reporting: Apply advanced analytical and statistical methods to assess performance, identify trends, and evaluate improvement effectiveness. Establish and monitor KPIs, and deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to ensure results are achieved and sustained.
Stakeholder Partnership & Influence: Act as a trusted advisor and change agent across the organization. Build strong partnerships, translate complex concepts into practical application, and influence decision-making at multiple levels to accelerate adoption and results.
Standards, Compliance & Consistency: Ensure Lean and Six Sigma practices align with company policies, governance expectations, and applicable regulations. Drive consistency in tools, training, and deployment standards to support enterprise-wide operational excellence.

Expertise in assessing end-to-end processes and designing continuous improvement strategies aligned to business objectives, financial targets, and operational priorities.
Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, evaluate ROI, and ensure improvement initiatives maximize value and resource effectiveness.
