The Cable Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting cable TV, high-speed internet, telephone, and home security services. They also act as a brand representative by educating customers on products and maintaining high quality and productivity standards.

No prior cable experience required — we provide paid training.

1+ year of experience in a comparable hands-on field such as:
Construction trades
Mechanics
Semi-skilled manufacturing
Other related technical or trade roles
1+ year of direct customer service experience
Basic PC and Windows software skills
Stable work history
Ability to work required shifts and overtime as needed
Ability to work 10–12+ hour days
Willingness to work a flexible, non-traditional schedule, including 5–6 day work weeks
Strong communication skills; ability to work effectively with customers and team members
Spanish language skills a plus in some locations
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Post–high school education a plus
Prior experience in construction, mechanics, manufacturing, or other hands-on trade roles
Ability to carry and operate tools and equipment
Ability to inspect, install, repair, and document materials and equipment
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
Ability to distinguish different wire colors
Ability to communicate in person and by telephone
Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and kneel
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, including carrying and positioning a 28-foot extension ladder
Ability to climb ladders and/or utility poles and work at heights
Ability to work on active job sites, indoors and outdoors, including attics, crawlspaces, and confined or elevated spaces, with exposure to varying weather, construction noise, dust, and other job site conditions
Ability to tolerate temporary exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme non-weather-related heat
