Yard Laborer / Equipment Wash & Detail Technician

Position Summary
R-2 Contractors is seeking a motivated Yard Laborer / Equipment Wash & Detail Technician to support our shop and fleet operations. This role is responsible for washing and detailing trucks and heavy equipment, maintaining an organized yard, assisting with inventory, and supporting general shop and facility projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality work, works safely, and contributes to a team-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Pressure wash and detail company trucks, heavy equipment, and fleet vehicles.
• Clean interiors including windows, dashboards, seats, and flooring.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional yard and shop environment.
• Assist with inventory, material handling, and general labor tasks.
• Support shop and facility improvement projects as assigned.
• Complete daily work reports and communicate progress with supervisors.
• Work safely while following company policies and procedures.
• Be able to work M-F 7am-5pm occasionally overtime as business requires.

Qualifications

• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Honest, dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Able to complete projects safely and on schedule.
• Willing to work overtime and a flexible schedule when business needs require.
• Willing to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage range $20-$22 DOE
