JCC Greater Boston in Newton, MA, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Certified Toddler Teacher to join our team. This position provides you with an opportunity to work with students of all ages and backgrounds, with a focus on providing a positive, nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dedicated educator with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential. As a Certified Toddler Teacher at JCC Greater Boston, you will have the chance to inspire and engage students while developing educational programs that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.

This posting is for a full-time, salaried Certified Toddler Teacher. The starting salary for this position is $47,940-$53,040. The salary offered will ultimately be determined by the scope of the position, the candidate’s relevant experience, and internal equity. JCC Greater Boston also has openings for part-time Toddler Teachers with multiple shift options. Requirements
Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and take risks
Maintain full responsibility for the smooth running of the classroom environment
In partnership with Early Learning Center Directors and peers, co-create a collaborative, dynamic, positive, and innovative classroom culture.
Work in partnership with JCC leadership and other departments to support JCC Greater Boston organizational goals and model JCC values
Partner and communicate with families to ensure the best care and education for the children
Design and implement curriculum
Complete observation and document assessments regarding children’s progress
Adhere to all EEC regulations as well as NAEYC guidelines
Qualifications
EEC certification required
A love of children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
Strong organizational skills, including teamwork, relationship-building skills, the ability to multitask, the ability to manage situations effectively and diplomatically
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability and commitment to build strong relationships with families, co-workers, ELC leadership, and JCCGB colleagues
Commitment to create and foster a dynamic environment where play and learning are a top priority
Computer literate

JCC Greater Boston is a nonprofit organization with roots in earlier Settlement Houses and Young Men’s Hebrew Associations; JCC Greater Boston today offers a wide range of services and program activities throughout the Greater Boston region (~50,000 individuals annually in 98 communities).
