The Event Coordinator manages the logistics and execution of signature university events and external space rentals within performing arts venues. Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, managing budgets, and overseeing crowd and house management.
A Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of event management experience are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, while experience with CAD, Visio, and event booking software is preferred.
The Event Coordinator will assist within the performing arts venues with event planning and show management. This position oversees the logistics and execution of several Butler University signature events as well as special events for their assigned internal campus departments. Additionally, this position handles various external space rentals as assigned.
