Overview:
The Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy is essential in helping shape Paramount’s strategic direction and enhancing its competitive position. Working under the guidance of the SVP, Corporate Strategy, the Senior Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams and leads key projects that drive growth and innovation throughout the organization. This role delivers actionable insights and recommendations to support executive decisions and ensures smooth implementation of strategic initiatives by working closely with stakeholders from across the business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support strategic planning from analysis to execution, including conducting market research, performing competitive benchmarking, and preparing business cases for new opportunities
Perform quantitative modeling and scenario analysis to assess potential growth strategies, partnerships, and innovative business models
Work with business unit leaders to translate overall company strategies into realistic operational plans, promoting alignment with Paramount’s objectives
Create executive-level presentations and reports that simplify complex topics into clear, actionable recommendations
Coordinate cross-functional project teams, managing timelines, deliverables, and communications to ensure effective implementation of strategic initiatives
Contribute to building analytical frameworks and tools for consistent decision-making, including methodologies for market sizing and investment evaluation
Assist with ad-hoc analyses and special projects, providing timely insights for emerging strategic questions
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or related fields, ideally within media, entertainment, or technology sectors. MBB firm experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
Strong skills in financial modeling and data analysis, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in streaming media, content production, or digital platforms, with knowledge of subscriber economics and licensing
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML and their applications in media, advertising, and content personalization
Exposure to international media markets and global content strategies is a plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $155,000.00 - 175,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
