The manager of safety standards and training is responsible for maintaining and supporting all safety standards and training for core THD US stores, Merchandising Execution Teams (MET), Contractors Warehouses and Home Services. The standards include but are not limited to the safety SOPs, merchandising standards, racking standards, all routine checklists that support the policies and procedures related to safety at The Home Depot. Also included is maintaining and improving all safety related training for associates and leaders and providing consultative guidance to business partners around complying with safety standards and reducing risk. The position and overall safety standards and training team is part of the safety support team and is also responsible for responding to fixture and merchandising failures as well as assisting in investigation operational failures as it relates to safety.
