Position Summary:

The Paul Davis Network is made up of more than 340 franchises and Company Owned Operations across the US and Canada. Since 1966, we have helped more than 2 million property owners restore their properties and lives. Paul Davis Restoration, Inc. is owned by FirstService Corporation, a global leader in the rapidly growing real estate services sector.
The ideal candidate for this position needs to be a big picture, goal-oriented person that also possesses enthusiasm and a proactive mindset. Proficiency in tile, drywall, trim work and painting is a must. You should love working with a strong sense of urgency and get bored easily with routine and repetitive tasks. The team demands an analytical problem solver who can bring solutions to the table and take charge of multiple, simultaneous tasks.
Location: Orlando, FL
Hours: 8am to 5pm with occasional OT and weekends required
Compensation $18.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience (paid bi-weekly)
Travel Requirements: daily travel to job sites and facility will be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Main responsibility will be construction and repair of various items such as installing, repairing, electrical fixtures, doors, windows and frames, floor tile, drywall, base board, plumbing, painting etc.
We expect you to have strong attention to details and a very good knowledge of different carpentry materials.
Work effectively to ensure productivity and job performance.
Identify opportunities for additional sales and customer service.
Represent the company well and within the limits of our culture.
Education, and/or Work Requirements:
High school diploma or GED certificate
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
1+ years of previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related industry (preferred)
Ability to successfully complete a background, drug test, and have a clean DMV record
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Technically adept with smart phone and tablet technology
Ability to operate within hazardous environments with care and safety
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Responsible for multiple high-end equipment pieces
Must own basic tools
Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability
Effective written and oral communication.

We are a local General Contractor restoring both Commercial and Residual homes. We specialize on remediation including Fire/ Smoke Damage Restoration, Water Damage Restoration, Mold Remediation/Cleanup, Mold Evaluation and Testing, Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling, Content Restoration and Storage.
We work on both Insurance and Non- Insurance claims.
We are available Everyday of the week for Emergency Services.
We also provide Continued Education Courses FREE OF CHARGE for all insurance agents and adjusters. A Certificate of Completion is issued to all that attend a Continuing Education course. Visit our website for a list of upcoming classes.
