Full job description
Information
Would you like to be part of a successful Danish legal-tech company that helps air passengers stand up for their rights in court? At Flyhjælp, we combine legal expertise, structured casework and technology to make access to justice easier. Since our start, we have helped more than 400,000 people obtain compensation.
We give people access to justice!
Flyhjælp is looking for a Danish-speaking legal case worker to work with litigation and enforcement (retssager). We are looking for a full-time colleague. Flyhjælp is a highly specialized debt-collection agency who helps air passengers collect their claims for compensation and refund from the airlines according to EU Regulation 261/2004.
We specialize in the Nordic jurisdictions under our brands:
… and we have our very own litigation department that handles cases in the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish courts. We take cases all the way to the Supreme court or the European Court of Justice if necessary.
Your mission
Preparation of pleadings in court cases
Settlement negotiations with the airlines
Contact with air passengers about what they have experienced
Contact with the courts regarding our cases
Contact with external partners, including external law firms
In the litigation department you will also work with optimizing our work processes, for example by investigating and implementing new technologies that can help us, or rethinking the way we do things.
Furthermore, the litigation department handles the enforcement of our verdicts via the enforcement courts.
This role is not intended for qualified lawyers or those with significant legal experience. It is better suited to those seeking an administrative or support role with a legal focus.
Your profile
Flyhjælp is seeking a new colleague to join our litigation department to process legal claims and handle cases in accordance with EU Regulation 261/2004. The role focuses on preparing case documents, corresponding with courts and clients, and ensuring each case is handled efficiently.
You will join a team of six Legal Case Workers, working closely with a Legal Specialist and your Team Lead to ensure high-quality case handling and effective legal representation in Denmark. The team consists of both full-time and part-time colleagues with different educational backgrounds, who all share a strong interest in law and a genuine motivation to help passengers enforce their rights.
Flyhjælp is looking for someone, who:
has an interest in law or administrative processes. No legal background required, but casework experience and interest in law is a plus
has strong analytical and written skills, and emotional intelligence
speaks and writes Danish at a native or professional level – any other Nordic language is a plus!
speaks and writes English
is not afraid to explore new technologies
prefers freedom under responsibility
is interested in work life balance
wants to grow and have fun
Is self-driven and takes initiative to solve your tasks
has a can-do attitude, which is motivating for colleagues and air passengers
and doesn’t mind that we may be a little wacky at times
Why us?
At Flyhjælp, we work with a clear purpose: giving people access to justice.
Air passenger rights exist to protect travelers - but in reality, many never claim what they’re entitled to. The process can feel complex, time consuming, and difficult to navigate. We bridge that gap by making it swift, easy, and transparent.
Each case represents a real situation where something didn’t go as planned. Your work helps ensure that travelers are treated fairly and that their rights are upheld in a way that is both efficient and smart.
Flyhjælp is an ambitious and growing legal-tech company based in Copenhagen, located near Kløvermarken. Since 2021, we have been part of the German company Flightright, which strengthens our position in the Nordic market and connects us to a broader European setup.
Our team brings together colleagues from across the Nordics and other parts of Europe, and we work closely with teams in Berlin, Budapest, and remote from all over Europe through our parent company. This creates an international working environment with both local focus and cross-market collaboration.
You’ll be part of a collaborative setup that values trust, ownership, and doing things properly - both in how we support our customers and how we work together.
What you can expect:
A full-time position with flexible hybrid work (office first culture at our bright office in Amager + up to 2 days work from home per week)
A healthy, subsidized lunch scheme in our canteen, and fresh fruit and coffee in the office
Up to 5 weeks of remote work per year from anywhere in the EU
The opportunity to occasionally work from our Berlin or Budapest office
A supportive and international team across Europe
Opportunities for personal and professional development in a growing company
Paid well-being and child sick days
Monthly social events, from parties to activities with your colleagues
Ready to give access to justice? Apply by submitting your CV and a cover letter. Starting salary will be determined based on experience, background, and qualifications. Expected start date is 1 October 2026.
If you have any questions regarding the position, you are welcome to contact Marie Hoffmann at [email protected].
There is no application deadline, but please send your application as soon as possible, as we invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis and will close the recruitment process once we have found the right candidate.
Please note that, due to our work with debt collection, this employment at Flyhjælp is conditional upon the selected candidate presenting a criminal record certificate as part of the final recruitment process. The certificate will be assessed only to the extent relevant to the position and our business requirements and will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection and recruitment rules.
