The Pharmacy Assistant supports the Pharmacist by handling the technical aspects of dispensing prescriptions and performing administrative duties. Key tasks include managing dispensary inventories, assisting in prescription preparation, and providing exceptional customer service to pharmacy members.
Candidates must have a Grade 12 education and pass the Calgary Co-op Pharmacy Assistant test. Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Assistant Program and two years of dispensing experience are preferred.
