This is a Full-Time position based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. We are a well-established company known for our expertise in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions, from central air units to indoor air quality systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analysing our business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and support our continued growth. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $28 - $42 USD per hour.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitor research to support strategic decision-making and identify new business opportunities.
Develop and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and financial models to track performance and communicate insights to the leadership team.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for new systems or process enhancements.
Support the planning and implementation of new projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and are delivered on time.
Create comprehensive documentation, including process flow diagrams and user guides.
Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and solutions.
Qualifications
Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
A solid understanding of business process modelling and requirements gathering techniques.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience within the HVAC, construction, or a related service industry would be a significant advantage.
