Plan and execute audits of actuarial models, methods, and processes focusing on risk modelling, reserving, and pricing. Provide independent advice and assess the effectiveness of internal control systems to improve governance across the Munich Re Group.
Requires a university degree in a quantitative discipline and full actuarial qualification (DAV or equivalent) with at least 5 years of professional experience. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and experience in insurance or reinsurance, preferably in internal audit or model review.
Join a global audit function that provides independent assurance and trusted advice to senior management, Boards of Management, and Audit Committees across Munich Re Group. Group Audit plays a key role in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal controls across a diverse international business portfolio, including reinsurance, primary insurance, and asset management activities.
As part of our global audit community, you will assess whether actuarial processes, models, systems, and controls meet internal and external requirements, and help identify opportunities for improvement. The role focuses on actuarial core areas such as risk modelling, pricing, valuation, reserving, and asset-liability management. You will be part of the global actuarial auditors community and will work closely with colleagues across our international audit network, including teams in Munich, Singapore, Toronto, and Sydney.
This role reports to the Head of Department, EULA.
