We are seeking a finance professional to work in the ISG Finance Organization as a Vice President and be part of the Project Management team.

In the Finance Division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis, and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources.

Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team. In ISG Finance, we act as a strategic partner to business units around the globe by providing management, analysis, advisory services, and forward-looking transformation of the Firm's financial processes, controls, and reporting.

This Vice President role sits within ISG Finance Transformation and focuses on driving digital enablement, AI adoption, and operational excellence across the Mumbai ISG Finance organization.

What you'll do in the role:

• Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
• Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment
• Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them
• Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
• Serve as a strategic leader within ISG Finance, partnering with senior Finance, Technology, Business, and global stakeholders to define and execute a globally aligned transformation agenda.
• Lead digital, automation, and AI initiatives across ISG Finance, delivering scalable solutions that enhance P&L commentary, reporting, controls, and management insights.
• Own end to end delivery of multiple, concurrent transformation programs-from prioritization through implementation, adoption, and value realization.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions (e.g., Copilot, agent-based workflows) with strong governance, risk management, and compliance to Firm standards.
• Establish and oversee governance frameworks for citizen development, automation, and AI usage, balancing innovation with regulatory and control requirements.
• Measure and communicate business impact, including efficiency gains, time savings, risk reduction, and improved decision-making.
• Identify digital, operational, and control risks early and lead remediation efforts with Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams.
• Translate complex initiatives into clear, executive-level communications for senior management and firm leadership.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Strong understanding of Finance processes, controls, and reporting, with end to end perspective on risk, data, and technology.
• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation, digital enablement, or automation initiatives in a complex, global organization.
• Experience working with analytics, automation, and reporting tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Copilot) to drive scalable outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate strategy into executable, well-governed solutions.
• Deep appreciation for governance, risk management, and regulatory expectations related to automation and AI.
• Strong program and project management capabilities, including prioritization, dependency management, and execution under tight timelines.
• Effective people leadership skills, with experience developing teams and fostering inclusive, collaborative environments.
• Highly analytical and structured problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
• At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
