Overview

As an Associate Planning Manager, you will play a critical role in leading day-to-day campaign strategy, client servicing, and media execution across both digital and offline channels. You will work closely with upper levels and cross-functional teams to ensure campaign effectiveness, foster strong client relationships, and develop integrated media solutions that drive results.

 

This role combines strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and team management, offering a strong growth path within the media and marketing industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of media accounts, acting as the main contact for clients and agency partners
• Translate client briefs into actionable media strategies and integrated media plans across paid search, social, programmatic, digital video, TV, OOH, and branded content
• Develop and present strategic media proposals backed by analytics, performance insights, and industry knowledge
• Manage campaign workflow, ensuring accurate bookings, material delivery, platform setup, pacing, and optimization
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams (creative, finance, data, media owners) to achieve campaign objectives
• Assist the Media Director in strengthening client relationships and ensuring high satisfaction scores
• Identify upsell opportunities and help turn best practices into scalable solutions for new business
• Mentor and guide junior team members across both planning and buying tasks
• Maintain pulse on media trends, platform updates, and competitive intelligence to fuel innovation

Qualifications

 

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a media agency
• Proven experience managing media campaigns across digital (Meta, Google, DV360), offline (TV, OOH), and performance media
• Strong understanding of media strategy, analytics, web tagging, and optimization workflows
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Ads Manager, Campaign Manager 360, and reporting dashboards
• Excellent client communication and presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex media concepts
• High attention to detail, process ownership, and comfort working with numbers
• Commercial acumen and ability to identify organic growth opportunities
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese
