Introduction


Overview

Gallagher Center of Excellence is seeking to hire a Senior Analyst for Claims vertical. The Property Appraiser is responsible for evaluating property damage claims remotely by reviewing documentation, photographs, and repair estimates submitted by field adjusters, contractors, and policyholders. This role requires a strong understanding of construction, property valuation, and repair processes, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. The Property Appraiser ensures accurate and fair settlements while maintaining compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

How you'll make an impact

1.	Review photographs, videos, and reports submitted by field adjusters or policyholders to assess the extent of property damage. Prepare detailed desk review reports, including damage assessments, cost estimates, and recommendations for claim settlements.
2.	Analyze supporting documentation, including contractor estimates, repair invoices, and engineering reports, to validate the scope of damage.
3.	Utilize specialized software (e.g., Xactimate, Symbility) to prepare or validate repair or replacement cost estimates
4.	Communicate with policyholders, contractors, and field adjusters to clarify discrepancies, explain the appraisal process, and provide updates on claim status
5.	Ensure all desk reviews and claims handling processes comply with state regulations, industry standards, and company guidelines
6.	Stay informed about changes in building codes, construction practices, and appraisal methodologies . Mitigate organizational risk, maintaining compliance and reputation
