We are seeking a qualified and motivated Carpenter to join our Hard FM team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. In this role, you will deliver high-quality carpentry and building maintenance services within a large, complex healthcare facility, ensuring safety, reliability and excellent service standards at all times.
This is a full-time opportunity, working 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Participation in an after-hours on-call roster may be required.
What you’ll do
Deliver day-to-day carpentry and general building maintenance, including repairs to doors, trims, hardware, ceilings and FF&E.
Complete preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works and emergency repairs across the facility.
Conduct inspections, condition assessments and assist with data collection and reporting.
Prioritise and manage work orders to meet required timeframes and service standards.
Maintain a safe, compliant and hazard-free workplace while collaborating with the wider maintenance team.
What you’ll bring
Trade qualification in Carpentry and current White Card.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in carpentry and building maintenance (preferred).
Strong knowledge of WHS requirements, building regulations and industry standards.
Experience using hand and power tools, ladders and Elevated Work Platforms.
Reliable, organised and customer-focused with strong communication skills.
