Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and automation control systems to ensure reliable equipment operation. Design and commission electrical control projects, including panel layouts and software documentation, while ensuring compliance with safety policies.
Requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for technical training or certifications in electrical technology. Candidates should have 1-2 years of industrial electrical experience and a strong knowledge of PLC programming and electrical safety standards.
JOB SUMMARY
This position will be expected to know and understand how each piece of equipment operates electrically, be able to maintain and troubleshoot all pieces of equipment back into order, as well as identify root cause analysis eliminating repetitive issues and improving control systems by introducing innovative solutions. This role combines aspects of electrical, electronic, and automation maintenance to ensure that control systems (such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, and other automated equipment) function reliably and efficiently and must comply with all safety policies and procedures including environmental.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US markets. The base pay range for this position is $44.00-46.00. This range is based on relevant market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience and skillset. Westlake is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, sign on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package (also to include a full range of medical and other benefits).
