The Front Desk Monitor manages the reception area by greeting visitors, handling phone calls, and controlling building access. Additionally, the role involves routing deliveries, conducting residence rounds, and assisting in crisis intervention.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a busy security environment. Candidates must obtain the Coordinator of Fire Safety & Alarms (F80) certification within 90 days of hire.

Position: Front Desk Monitor (Part Time/16 hrs)
The Front Desk Monitor answers telephone calls and takes messages for staff, receives and assists visitors, receives and routes deliveries, aids residents, and controls front door access.
Booth House is a single room occupancy (SRO) residence jointly operated by Volunteers of America-Greater New York and the Institute for Community Living, which provides social services.
