Requires a bachelor's degree or relevant experience (such as CCNA1) and at least three years of experience in a similar ICT or network role. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with a basic ability to communicate in French.

Als Operations support engineer analyseer je de complexe technische vragen van onze zakelijke klanten en bied je oplossingen. Je behandelt interventies van A tot Z en handelt ook preventief. Onze Operations support engineers vormen een hecht team. Dat is logisch: als het kloppend hart van de Operations afdeling werken we hard. Dankzij onze probleemoplossing en monitoring blijven onze klanten operationeel. En dat is belangrijk, als je bedenkt dat onder anderen het UZ Gent op onze diensten vertrouwt.
Jouw taken omvatten:
Het beoordelen van de impact van het probleem van de klant, het geven van de juiste prioriteit en het oplossen volgens het First Time Right-principe.
Het begrijpen van trends van terugkerende problemen en KPI's, of het herkennen van patronen in input van interne en externe belanghebbenden.
Het formuleren van aanbevelingen voor optimalisatie en/of uitbreiding van de klantinfrastructuur en het voorstellen van innovaties.
Verantwoordelijk voor het operationeel beheer van het netwerk en de infrastructuur, met correcte, efficiënte en klantgerichte communicatie met alle interne en externe partijen.
Helpen om de klanttevredenheid te maximaliseren door onberispelijke service te bieden.
Onze ideale Operations support engineer
Je bent een echte teamspeler die de belangen van onze klanten vooropstelt en energie krijgt van het oplossen van problemen.
Je hebt goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een gezonde dosis assertiviteit.
Je hebt een bachelor diploma of kunt relevante ervaring voorleggen, of je hebt de CCNA1-opleiding gevolgd bij de VDAB.
Je hebt minimaal drie jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie.
Je hebt een achtergrond in netwerktechnieken, netwerkbeheer, systeembeheer of ICT.
Kennis van de telecomsector en Telenet-producten is natuurlijk een groot pluspunt.
Je communiceert vloeiend in het Nederlands en Engels (zowel gesproken als geschreven). Je Frans is misschien niet perfect, maar je hebt er geen schroom in om je in het Frans uit te drukken.
Je bent een klantgerichte probleemoplosser: het verzoek om hulp van de klant heeft altijd jouw eerste prioriteit.
Onze service is 24/7 beschikbaar. Daarom zul je na enkele maanden in een ploegensysteem werken, waar we veel flexibiliteit van je vragen. Aan de andere kant is er een prettige verhouding tussen werken op kantoor en thuiswerken... en geweldige teamleden die altijd voor elkaar klaarstaan.
