The Category Manager is responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing the Apple product category, including the full product lifecycle and data integrity. This role involves collaborating with internal BI and sales teams and maintaining a strong operational relationship with Apple as a vendor.
Candidates should have analytical strength, experience or affinity with the IT market and the Apple ecosystem, and fluency in Dutch and English. Proficiency in Excel, SAP R3, or BI tools is preferred along with a proactive approach to ownership and problem-solving.

Wat ga je doen?
Als Category Specialist Apple ben jij eindverantwoordelijk voor het beheren, monitoren en optimaliseren van de Apple‑categorie. Je bewaakt de volledige lifecycle van producten, stuurt op data‑integriteit en zorgt dat processen, rapportages en categorieperformance op topniveau zijn.
Je werkt nauw samen met interne teams zoals data‑integratie, Business Intelligence, verkoop en profitmanagement en hebt daarnaast intensief contact met Apple als vendor. Tegelijkertijd behoud je volledig eigenaarschap over jouw categorie. Het is een zelfstandige vakrol waarin jij het verschil maakt en actief bijdraagt aan de groei van een premium merk.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:
Jij bent het centrale aanspreekpunt en inhoudelijk specialist voor de Apple‑categorie.
Je monitort prijsontwikkelingen, voorraad, forecasts, verkoopresultaten en categorie‑KPIs.
Je waarborgt data‑integriteit en werkt samen met data‑integratie en BI voor inzichtelijke rapportages.
Je analyseert performance en zet bevindingen om in concrete commerciële actieplannen.
Je onderhoudt operationele relaties met Apple en partners en leidt de wekelijkse overlegmomenten.
Je werkt nauw samen met Inside Sales om commerciële en operationele acties optimaal af te stemmen.
Je levert een strategische bijdrage aan businessplannen en voert deze samen met Apple uit.
Je werkt samen met het verkoopteam en profitmanagement rond prijsstrategie, uitzonderingen en correcties.
Je draagt bij aan ship‑and‑debit‑processen en voorraadallocatie waar nodig.
Je realiseert kwartaaldoelstellingen op het gebied van groei, brutowinst (GP) en back‑end rebates (BER).
Energie krijgt van het bouwen van relaties en het samenwerken met verschillende stakeholders.
Vloeiend Nederlands en Engels spreekt en schrijft. Frans is een pluspunt
Analytisch sterk is en goed met cijfers werkt.
Nauwkeurig werkt en op de details let
Ervaring heeft met of affiniteit heeft met IT‑producten, distributieprocessen en bij voorkeur het Apple‑ecosysteem.
Zelfstandig werkt en eigenaarschap neemt, maar ook graag onderdeel is van een team.
Proactief knelpunten signaleert en verbeteringen initieert.
Nieuwsgierig is naar marktontwikkelingen, concurrentie en consumententrends.

Bij voorkeur ervaring heeft met Excel (gevorderd), SAP R3, CRM of BI‑tools.
