The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a strategic advisor to the Casualty business unit, providing forward-looking financial analysis and performance insights. They are responsible for managing financial planning, forecasting, and ensuring the integrity of accounting records and internal controls.
Candidates should possess strong finance and accounting skills with a deep understanding of insurance financial statements and U.S. GAAP/Statutory reporting. An advanced degree in finance or economics is preferred, along with professional experience in the commercial insurance industry.
The Sr Financial Analyst will serve as a key strategic advisor to several business units within the Casualty business unit. They will provide support that includes, but it not limited to, the following: providing forward-looking financial analysis, influencing decision-making, and shaping the financial direction of the business. The role play a central role in tracking and communicating actual financial performance, financial planning and forecasting, and performance optimization.
Our preference is for this position to be located in our New York or Chicago.
