Full job description
Requisition ID: 269485
Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.
The Senior Manager, Group Treasury Finance Strategic Initiatives is responsible for leading finance projects, process redesign, and analytical enhancements across Group Treasury Finance. The role supports planning, forecasting, performance analysis, reporting, governance, and decision support for complex Treasury activities, with a particular focus on strengthening the efficiency, accuracy, and sustainability of key finance processes. The role partners with stakeholders across Group Treasury, Global Finance, business line finance, technology, and control functions to execute initiatives, resolve process and data issues, improve reporting transparency, and deliver actionable insights to senior management. The role will also support continuous improvement by developing scalable processes, enhanced documentation, stronger controls, and improved analytical tools.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
Lead finance projects and process redesign initiatives across Group Treasury Finance, ensuring deliverables are well-scoped, effectively governed, and aligned with team priorities.
Develop and enhance reporting and analytical outputs to improve transparency into margin drivers across relevant business, product, portfolio, and Treasury dimensions.
Support planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis for Group Treasury activities, including variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
Improve recurring finance processes by enhancing automation, documentation, controls, reconciliation routines, review procedures, and data quality.
Prepare and enhance management reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders, including materials supporting ALCO, Board, executive management, and business-line discussions.
Partner with Group Treasury, business line finance, technology, and control teams to investigate and resolve data, system, methodology, and reporting issues.
Support governance over assigned processes and projects by maintaining clear methodologies, process maps, control checkpoints, and issue/action tracking.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and decision support for strategic initiatives, business cases, complex transactions, and management requests.
Promote continuous improvement, knowledge transfer, and team capability through reusable analytical tools, templates, process documentation, and coaching.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
CPA or CFA designation preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of financial services experience, preferably in Treasury Finance, FP&A, FTP, liquidity/funding, financial reporting, or related finance roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, Treasury products, net interest margin analysis, FTP concepts, ALM, liquidity, and balance sheet drivers.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
Experience collaborating with project teams, improving processes, documenting methodologies, and strengthening controls.
Strong data and reporting skills; experience with EGL, OBI, Anaplan, SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools is an asset.
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work with senior audiences and cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, shifting timelines, and complex deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
