Maintain and evolve RHEL-based Linux systems and transition infrastructure toward Kubernetes-based containerization within an R&D lab environment. Act as a technical advisor to lab leadership and project teams to align technical execution with strategic goals.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience) and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and an IA certification such as Security+ CE.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support and advance our IT infrastructure, with a primary focus on RHEL-based Linux systems and a strategic transition to Kubernetes-based containerization. This role supports a dynamic R&D lab environment that integrates closely with the broader enterprise. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and evolving both Linux and Kubernetes platforms, along with related infrastructure. You will also act as a technical advisor and liaison to lab leadership and project teams, helping bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic goals. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential for effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
