What you will do

As a Director in CyberSecurity, you will lead the strategic vision and execution of initiatives, ensuring they align with client objectives and regulatory standards. You will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive cyber security strategies, driving innovation and excellence in data protection, compliance, and risk mitigation. Your role will involve high-level engagement with stakeholders to demonstrate the value of security initiatives, solidifying Deloitte’s position as a trusted leader in cyber security solutions.

You will

• Lead end to end cyber security operations. 
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of security platform inclduing SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR
• Direct incident response activities, including major incident management, root cause analysis, and recovery coordination. 
• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
• Define and standardize SOC processes, playbooks, and operating procedures to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Design and deliver modern Security Operations Center (SOC) service offerings including threat detection, incident response, and managed SIEM capabilities, while leading the strategic buildout of people, processes, and technology infrastructure. 
• Build and nurture strong client relationships, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
• Manage project scope, schedule, status, and documentation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.

Enough about us, let's talk about you.

• 15+ years of exereince in cyber security.
• Proven experience leading large-scale SOC or Cyber Operate functions, with strong exposure to detection, incident response, and security operations delivery.
• Deep technical knowledge of security platforms and frameworks, including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and threat intelligence, with ability to translate into scalable solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Ability to travel 25-50%, depending on the work and clients served.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proven ability to lead a team of engineers.
• Strong communication skills to effectively advocate key security requirements to senior stakeholders.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities with clear communication.
