Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a licensable field and a current Addiction and Prevention Credentialed Counselor certification through the KS BSRB. Candidates must have experience with at-risk youth, a valid driver's license, and be at least 21 years old.

Position: Drug and Alcohol Counselor
Location: Topeka, KS
Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 for new employees, paid out in two installments!
As a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at KVC, you’ll take on a critical role in providing education, consultation, and training to KVC staff, helping them gain the knowledge and skills to better support children and families affected by substance use disorders. You’ll make a difference in the lives of families by offering:
✔️ Training & Support for staff on substance use disorders and their impact on families.
✔️ Assessments & Treatment through individual, family, and group sessions.
✔️ Collaboration with treatment providers to ensure continuity of care.
✔️ Engagement Strategies to motivate families to seek help and find the right treatment.
