The IQC Technician is responsible for performing raw material inspections, documenting non-conformities, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems. They also support the validation of inspection methods, maintain laboratory equipment, and provide technical guidance to inspectors.
Candidates must hold a technical degree in Precision Mechanics, Metrology, or a related field with at least 350 hours of training. Proficiency in English (75% comprehension) and experience with vision systems and blueprint interpretation are required.

Cumplir con las normas de seguridad y ambiente, así como políticas/ procedimientos internos generales.
Realizar inspecciones de la materia prima en el tiempo establecido, basado en las necesidades del negocio y las prioridades definidas por el supervisor o designado.
Cumplir con todas las políticas, procedimientos aplicables al puesto de trabajo y normas internas de la organización, y las estipuladas en el sistema de calidad.
Verificar que la revisión de los documentos a utilizar, ya sean procedimientos o formularios; sea la más actualizada y que está entrenado(a) en el mismo.
Documentar el entrenamiento respectivo en el sistema de entrenamiento, antes de ejecutar la tarea respectiva.
Recomendar y generar cambios y correcciones que sean necesarias para asegurar el efectivo cumplimiento de los lineamientos del sistema de gestión de calidad.
Generar eventos de No Conformidades (NCEs) en el sistema electrónico apropiado, en caso de que se detecte que un material está fuera de las especificaciones aprobadas. Asegurar que el material no conforme es segregado de acuerdo a los procedimientos respectivos.
Llenar, controlar y tramitar documentación asociada al proceso de inspección de materia prima, así como completar las inspecciones realizadas, actualizar la información correctamente en el sistema electrónico de acuerdo a las buenas prácticas de documentación. Asegurar que los entrenamientos regulatorios y de la compañía sean completados a tiempo.
Identificar apropiadamente el material conforme de acuerdo a los procedimientos internos de la organización.
Apoyar y llevar a cabo validaciones de nuevos métodos de inspección así como la mejora continua de los métodos de inspección ya implementados en el área de IQC.
Realizar órdenes de compra para la adquisición de nuevos equipos y suplementos de inspección.
Realizar los trámites necesarios para la inclusión y calibración de equipos.
Verificar que los equipos utilizados se encuentren dentro del periodo de mantenimiento preventivo y calibración.
Crear y validar rutinas en sistemas de visión.
Orientar e instruir a los inspectores y asistentes técnicos en interpretación de planos, aplicación de normas y prácticas de calidad.
Realizar órdenes de cambio, con la finalidad de que los documentos del sistema de gestión de calidad se ajusten a las necesidades de la organización y de la materia prima.
Solicitar documentación requerida (por ejemplo Certificados de Conformidad -CoC-) a los suplidores.
Apoyar en el control de la cola de materiales pendientes de inspeccionar y verificar que su inspección se asigne y se realice con la prioridad que corresponda según el nivel de urgencia y la fecha de ingreso.
Involucramiento y apoyo a las actividades de introducción de nuevos productos, cuando sea requerido.
Apoyar el desarrollo/ elaboración de fixtures que incrementen la eficiencia de las inspecciones, así como su inclusión en el sistema respectivo.
Entrenar a los inspectores y asistentes técnicos (si aplica) en las nuevas revisiones de documentos asociados al sistema de gestión de calidad.
Apoyar/ realizar investigaciones relacionadas a equipos fuera de tolerancia.
Mantener controles para asegurar que los equipos del laboratorio sean calibrados a tiempo y que su mantenimiento preventivo se realice como corresponde.
Mantener y promover un ambiente laboral saludable en el laboratorio de IQC.
Notificar al supervisor de IQC si los inspectores y asistentes técnicos incumplen con las reglas de comportamiento definidas por la organización.
Ejecutar procesos de validación requeridos en el área (equipos y métodos).
Desarrollar reportes periódicos con base en los indicadores de desempeño de los indicadores de IQC.
