Job Summary
Coordinate and optimize routes and crew schedules to support timely and cost-effective transportation operations. Communicate with field staff and stakeholders to resolve conflicts and maintain service levels.

Main Duties
Develop and adjust daily and weekly route plans and crew assignments to meet service requirements and operational constraints.
Communicate schedule changes and dispatch information to drivers, crew members, and supervisors via phone, email, or dispatch systems.
Monitor real-time operations to identify delays, disruptions, and resource shortages, and implement contingency plans.
Maintain accurate scheduling records, manifests, and logs; prepare routine reports on utilization and performance metrics.
Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and customer service to align crew availability with vehicle readiness and demand.
Analyze route efficiency and crew utilization data to recommend improvements and cost-saving measures.
Requirements
Secondary school diploma; post-secondary education in logistics, business, or a related field is an asset.
Minimum one year of experience in scheduling, dispatch, or transportation coordination.
Proficiency with scheduling or dispatch software and spreadsheet applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for directing personnel and liaising with stakeholders.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as operational needs require.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
