Provide personal care and daily living support to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Assist with meal preparation, medication administration, and the implementation of Individual Program Plans to foster independence.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years of experience in a licensed residential setting with medically fragile adults. Must obtain DSP-I and DSP-II certifications and maintain valid CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications.

Assist with meal prep, laundry and support of residents.OVERVIEW OF POSITION: Attends to the personal care of adults with developmental disabilities living in a licensed residential home. Assists and participates in the planning, coordination and delivery of daily living activities; including outings, to facilitate development of living skills for the residents and help them achieve a higher level of independence.
Carrying/Lifting: Occasional / 0-50 lbs.
Standing: Occasional / Up to 3 hours per day.
Sitting: Occasional / Up to 4 hours per day.
Walking: Occasional / Up to 3 hours per day.
Repetitive Motion/Activity: Keyboard activity, telephone use, writing.
Visual Acuity: Ability to view computer monitor and read newsprint.
Travel: Requires up to 20% local travel.
Environmental Exposure: Regular exposure to unpleasant or hazardous working conditions (noise, heat, dust, bodily fluids, etc.) more than 50% of work time.
