Accountable for the investigation, negotiation, and settlement of intermediate third-party bodily injury and casualty claims. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio, directing defense counsel, and collaborating with stakeholders to determine liability and quantum.
Requires a minimum of 3 years of claims handling experience, preferably in auto adjusting, and a university degree, college diploma, or CIP designation. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy operation.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Leader, National Casualty and Bodily Injury Claims, you have a track record of progressively challenging claims handling. You will be accountable for the investigation, negotiation and settlement of Intermediate Third-Party Bodily Injury claims. You are motivated by a challenge and strive to continually develop yourself and others. You actively support change and seek to improve. You have effectively managed a portfolio of Automobile Bodily Injury, or Accident Benefit Claims, or Automobile PD Claims of increasing complexity. You continually support the Team environment and raise your hand to assist others. You have a desire to be part of a diverse, highly engaged and high-performance team.
Salary Range: $51,300 - $94,400
Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
