The Statutory Manager acts as a strategic thought partner; overseeing reporting cycles, ensuring filing readiness and driving regulatory compliance for legal entities located in the Iberia region. This role requires an advanced professional who exercises independent judgment to solve unique, unprecedented accounting issues where guidelines do not exist.
The successful candidate will blend exceptional technical accounting mastery with strategic process ownership, championing automation and serving as a critical cross-functional collaborator to elevate controls and scale our global financial reporting architecture.
Experience: 10+ years of progressive accounting and tax compliance experience.
Proven experience acting as a primary reviewer for audited statutory financial statements in a multinational corporate framework
Extensive progressive accounting and tax compliance experience, with a proven track record of managing highly complex processes, driving strategic initiatives, and navigating ambiguous, precedent-setting financial scenarios.
Demonstrated capability to analyze unique, significant business issues, evaluate intangibles, and independently formulate creative, effective solutions.
Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required
Relevant professional certification such as a CPA, Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA
Proficiency with Oracle and NetSuite
