Oversee day-to-day production operations and hourly personnel on a rotating shift to ensure efficient machine operation and food safety. Responsible for training team members, enforcing GMP and HACCP standards, and coordinating activities with production supervisors.
Requires a high school diploma and at least two years of supervisory experience in a food-manufacturing environment. Proficiency in English and computer skills in Word, Excel, and SAP are desired.
The Team Lead, Production is responsible for the day-to-day operations of his/her assigned shift. In conjunction with the Plant Production Supervisor, this position will oversee production activities of hourly personnel and oversee machine operation. This position will train, coach, and problem solve with team members; communicate timely and relevant information to team members and supervisors in a thorough manner; and demonstrate ownership in plant and food safety, including all regulatory requirements. This position also keeps control of the Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety, Quality, Customer Service and team processes.
Schedule:
12-hour rotating shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
