The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to Senior Leadership, including managing schedules, travel, and correspondence. They will also coordinate with internal departments, process procurement requests, and ensure the smooth operation of the Office of the Chief Executive.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens capable of obtaining a Public Trust clearance with 3-5 years of relevant administrative or procurement experience. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
BA Global Talent is seeking an exceptional, polished, and detail-oriented On-Site Executive Assistant (EA) to support Senior Leadership at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) headquarters in Washington, DC.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact opportunity to work directly alongside two Chief Deputies / Senior Leaders who report straight to the CEO. In this role, you will serve as the "Face of the Agency," acting as the primary host welcoming, greeting, and escorting high-ranking domestic and foreign politicians, international dignitaries, and key global stakeholders at DFC Headquarters.
The DFC is financing solutions to the most critical challenges facing the developing world today. Working with businesses, we mobilize private capital to invest in projects that create jobs and opportunities in emerging markets, including building critical infrastructure, expanding access to telecommunications, and providing small business financing for women entrepreneurs.
Serve as the Face of the Agency: Welcome, greet, and escort high-ranking politicians, foreign government officials, and international stakeholders at DFC Headquarters with the highest level of professionalism and poise.
Direct Executive & Calendar Management: Manage complex, rapidly shifting calendars and daily priorities for two Senior Leaders/Chief Deputies directly supporting the CEO.
Stakeholder & External Relations: Interface professionally with foreign governments, diplomatic figures, and external high-level executives; handle incoming phone inquiries, invitations, and official communications.
Workflow & Deadline Tracking: Maintain a rigorous control and follow-up system for incoming tasks, correspondence, and projects to ensure zero detail is missed.
Executive Communications: Draft, proofread, and polish high-level correspondence, reports, and official documents.
Travel & Operations: Coordinate complex domestic and international travel itineraries and process travel vouchers.
Administrative & Ethics Clearances: Assist with internal ethics clearances for speaking events and process administrative procurements under the supervision of the OCE Program Manager.
Continuity Support: Provide seamless back-up administrative coverage for planned and unplanned absences within the executive office.
Status & Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder). (Temporary visas cannot be considered). Must qualify for and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in high-level executive support, international organizations, or corporate/financial settings is preferred, but not required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Exceptional People Skills: Outgoing, diplomatic, and highly skilled in interpersonal relations with the ability to engage comfortably with C-suite executives and foreign dignitaries.
Meticulous Attention to Detail: Outstanding organizational and tracking skills with a strong record of managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional Presence: Impeccable professional presentation, poise, and discretion required for greeting high-profile guests.
Professional working proficiency or fluency in Spanish.
On-Site: Washington, DC
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday
