The Dispatcher I is responsible for routing local freight, dispatching drivers, and documenting the pickup and delivery of shipments. They coordinate communication between drivers and agents while ensuring timely data entry of shipment milestones into tracking systems.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree and 0-3 years of freight forwarding or customer service experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AS400, along with strong mapping and organizational skills, is desired.

AIT is seeking a Dispatcher I! We are flexible on start time, if needed along with extra hours to be earned on the weekends, if applicable.
The Dispatcher I is responsible for overseeing and documenting the pickup and delivery of local shipments, as well as coordinating and communicating shipment information between drivers and delivery agents.
In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position). Benefits offered include Medical, Prescription, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Disability, Supplemental Health, Employee Support, Paid Parental Leave, Pet Insurance, 401(k) and Tuition Reimbursement.
