The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support, including preparing patients for providers, assisting with minor procedures, and managing clerical tasks. They are responsible for maintaining exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and following up on lab work or x-rays.
Candidates must hold a Medical Assisting credential such as RMA, CMA, or CCMA and possess a degree or diploma from an accredited school. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to expanded roles are required for this position.
The Toledo Clinic's Orthopedics Department is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant. Qualified candidates will have an MA credential (RMA,CMA,CCMA). The hours are Monday-Friday (8:00-5:00). This position will provide both administrative and clinical support in a busy office setting.
Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants. Sign-On Bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA). For candidates that have not yet obtained or need to renew their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants will be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.

Assist providers with patient treatment, prepares patient for providers, and performs various clerical duties.
Works under the supervision of the Office Manager.

A large private multi-specialty physician group in the city of Toledo. The Clinic also has radiology services (x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT and other scans), laboratory services, and a pharmacy on the main campus at Secor Rd and Sylvania Ave. The physicians represent essentially all specialties and the breadth of primary care. The main campus facility also includes a newly designed outpatient surgery center serving all surgical specialists at the Clinic.
